Saying Goodbye
We have two more days left in Spain before we head back to the states. This week has been filled with lots of Goodbyes. Although we are anxious and excited to see family, it has been hard saying goodbye to friends we know we will probably never see again. On Tuesday night we had dinner with Kendall and Scott. It was fun being over at their place one last time. Josh had a blast playing with Rebecca and Kathryn. At one point in the evening they decided to play dress up. Josh got to wear the pink skirt :)
Yesterday was the Christmas party at playgroup. Josh and I went and got to say goodbye to lots of our friends. It's funny how temporary things are for everyone here. It seems that all our friends will be moving away from Spain in the next few months or at least within the year.Corrine and her son Luke are here through the business school as well. Corrine's husband is a classmate of Russ'. Luke was born here just one month after they arrived. They will be going back to Switzerland.
Sophie is one of my close friends here and it was really hard saying goodbye to her. It looks like she and her family will be moving to Dubai in the Spring.
Debbie and her family are originally from Texas. Her kids Sydney and Garrett are friends of Josh. She is so sweet and so helpful while I was pregnant with Emory. We will miss their family.
