6 Weeks Old

Last Friday Emory turned 6 weeks old. I can't believe she's already that old. Just last week she started to be more alert and stay awake longer. She loves looking at Josh's star in his room and, of course, her butterflies.

Josh loves having her around and is very eager for when she can play with him. He likes holding her hands and feet and giving her the "paci" when she's crying.

Here are a few more pictures we took over the weekend. We went to Josh's friend's (Rebecca) house for her 3rd birthday party. Rebecca is the one in the pink dress to Josh's right. Josh had a blast playing with her. They play really well together. And Rebecca has a complete Thomas Rail Set so that's always a plus. As Russ told Josh, "Way to go after the girls with the good toys." Scott and Kendall (Rebecca's parents) are here with the US Embassy. They are some of our good friends here. We'll be going over to their place for Thanksgiving this week too.

Russ has about a week of school left. Could this really be the end of his education for a long time?!! What will we do with ourselves? It is so exciting to see the end in site. Russ is still on the career hunt so we are still unsure of what is next and where we'll be. He has had a few interviews over the last weeks though so that's enouraging. We'll keep you posted when we know somthing. For now, we return home December 17th and will be in Oklahoma City until we know what's next. Some have asked about our address in the states.
