We went to IKEA earlier this week and drained our pocketbook so we could fill our apartment. We have a furnished place, but there were still many other things that we needed - sheets, towels, hangers, and a basketball hoop from the Toys R Us across the street. IKEA is a huge Swedish store. Good news is, they deliver to your home - so folks like us without cars can still get things done. Here's Josh surviving the all day shopping event.

We saved money on our new dryer! We have a small front load washing machine, located in the kitchen. Josh likes to watch the clothes spin. Dryers are not common, so the clothes go out on the clothesline. The clothes smell good, but it takes some planning to do the laundry. So far, we haven't dropped any skivvies on our neighbors. If only I could say the same about some of our clothespins.

Bath time.
