Our little traveling man with his suitcase.

On our second day, we visited Parque del Buen Retiro, Madrid's central park. Little did we know that we would end up living near it.

Josh is getting into the swing of things by enjoying any playground that we stop at. He's very good at spotting them now.

Taking pictures has become a good way for Josh to process his new environment. A photo shop gave him this empty disposable camera one day and he has been taking "pictures" and telling everyone to "smile" ever since. Sometimes Josh will also want mommy or daddy to take a real picture. We look at them later on and it is becoming one of the ways we can talk about and remember our new experiences. (As you are noticing, much of our blog is cultural adaptation through the eyes of a 2 yr old. We figure the grandparents won't mind.)
