That means "our kitchen." It came furnished with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine (yes, it's right under the kitchen counter), dishwasher, basic pots and pans, and some dishes and silverware. We added a convection oven because living without an oven for 15 months was inconceivable to us - especially for Russ and his constant craving for cookies. We also added the shelves to the left because there was no pantry/storage space.

The view from the kitchen window consists of the roof of the Anthropology Museum next door and our neighbor's laundry hanging from the next floor up. Anyone's invited to come over for a meal anytime you're in town!
